American Medical Depot Awarded Prime Vendor Contract with U.S. Navy

Miami, March 31, 1999: American Medical Depot announced today that it has signed a five-year, sole provider, medical/surgical supply distribution agreement with the U.S. Navy in conjunction with the Defense Logistics Agency. Under the terms of the contract, American Medical Depot is to supply the entire Navy fleet comprised of 324 ships and submarines with medical/surgical products on both a routine and emergency delivery basis. Estimated sales are expected to exceed $30 million over the life of the contract.
