American Medical Depot Announces Standardization Agreement for Tricare Region I

Miami: American Medical Depot, (AMD), is pleased to announce the recent standardization agreement for wound care compression products for TRICARE Region I and selected Military Treatment Facilities within Regions II and V. AMD worked closely with the Region I Tri-Service Regional Business Office, the regional Prime Vendors, (Owens & Minor and Bergen Brunswig), and the Medical Treatment Facilities to identify Beiersdorf-Jobst products for standardization. The result was a clinically preferred product with substantial tiered savings below the national DAPA (National DAPA SP0200-98-H-0068) contract price in consideration of combined volume being committed by the Military Treatment Facilities.

The Standardization Agreement (Regional DAPA SP0200-00-H-0004) features:

*Comprilan Short Stretch Compression Bandage
*Cutinova Hydro Flexible, Waterproof Highly Absorbent Dressing
*Gelocast Unna Boot Bandages impregnated with zinc oxide & calamine
The Standardization Agreement for the applicable TRICARE Medical Treatment Facilities is available on the Region I web site located at www.narmc.amedd.army.mil. Select Tri-Service Regional Medical Logistics Program, and then Region I. To request an additional copy of the Standardization Agreement or product literature and brochures for additional items offered on our national DAPA, please contact American Medical Depot's Marketing Manager, Nick Manitzas at (305) 364-0888 ext 107.
